São Paulo, June 2011 - Brazil has shown a low number of cornea transplants a year, about three thousand per year. To raise awareness about the importance of being a donor, the campaign signed by DDB Brasil- IOTC - Institute of Ophthalmology Tadeu Cvintal, who founded the institute first eye bank in Brazil. Over the past 45 years, the eye bank managed by IOTC has conducted nearly 10 000 transplants.
