Philosophy & Competitive Advantages
Image is what your audiences perceive and remember.
Opinion is what they think. And what they say.
Can you build and protect an image without taking into account the spread of opinions?
Can you shape positive opinions without taking care of your image?
The rise of the Internet and the social media mean that today image and opinion cannot be handled separately. Never have they been more intertwined.
At Wellcom, our beliefs and methods are born of this vision. Using a unique approach* that leverages brand values and incorporates image and opinion we help our clients communicate more meaningfully and more consistently, which ultimately contributes to building a more enduring reputation.
It’s little wonder then that Wellcom has been among France’s top-ranked agencies in five successive independent client satisfaction surveys**.
* Wellcom is at the origin of the International Index of Corporate Values study, a reference in the field of brand values. In 2009, Thierry Wellhoff, chairman of Wellcom, published the book “Les Valeurs: Donner du sens, gérer la communication, construire la réputation” (Editions Eyrolles).
**Ballester (2004) and Limelight (2006, 2007, 2008, 2009).
In 2000, Wellcom founded with European and American agencies the ECCO international communication agencies network located in various places worldwide and based in London. The common values of these agencies are: independent agencies on an â??entrepreunarialâ?? basis, capital owned by its managers. Culture, operating and quality standards are added to this. Depending on the country, the agencies have an average staff from 15 to 50.
The head office is the co-ordinator responsible for implementing international processes, common tools and a customer portfolio. Monthly reportings, forwarded to each member gives an overall visibility of each member activities to the clients concerned with the international business. Ecco enables all its clients to benefit from a truly global organization, while preserving great flexibility in terms of action, since members are free of any obligation to work with the other network agencies.
