Boston, May 25, 2011 – Arnold Worldwide is pleased to announce that Elliott Seaborn is joining as EVP, Executive Director. Seaborn will play a leadership role in the account management group, providing digital-business counsel to Arnold’s clients and helping shape the evolution of the account management practice. He will be based in the network’s Boston office and officially starts on June 1. He will report to Pam Hamlin, Managing Partner and President of Arnold Boston.

Seaborn is the latest executive digital hire to join the agency. Most recently, former Modernista! President Matt Howell joined as Managing Partner, Global Chief Digital Officer. Along with Howell, Arnold Worldwide brought on seven specialists from Modernista!’s digital department. In the last year, Arnold has hired over 60 digital specialists in the U.S. alone across social media, mobile, user experience, digital production and interaction design from respected agencies, including AKQA, Crispin Porter + Bogusky, Goodby Silverstein & Partners and R/GA.
Throughout Seaborn’s nearly two decade long career, his experience has spanned brand and channel strategy in both the online and offline marketing worlds. He uniquely blends real-time, dynamic digital delivery with CRM rigor and is a specialist at building brands that deliver value for customers and ROI for clients.
Most recently, Seaborn held a Senior Vice President role at Digitas, where he worked for over 10 years leading some of largest clients on the agency’s roster. Under his watch, he grew the biggest piece of the General Motors business by nearly 300%. He was also instrumental in winning several pieces of significant new business, including Aflac. After winning Aflac in 2010, Seaborn led the revamp of the go-to-market strategy to drive impact and efficiency, delivering the first positive quarter of sales for the insurance company in over two years. By using advanced targeting techniques and cutting edge digital platforms, Aflac reached new high-value B-to-B and B-to-C customers at scale across multiple touchpoints, yet in a highly personalized way.
Seaborn also worked on OnStar, where he helped build a massive marketing engine that drew on a value-based behavioral segmentation with a single customer view to deliver unique experiences across a wide variety of touchpoints. In the span of five years, the programs that Seaborn led increased OnStar’s acquisition rate by 33%, while reducing production costs by 40%
Prior to Digitas, Seaborn worked at a handful of agencies in both digital and traditional capacities, including Grey and Ammirati Puris Lintas.
Aside from leading clients businesses, Seaborn is highly involved in the Boston marketing community, leading Digitas' relationship with the Massachusetts Innovation and Technology Exchange (MITX). Further, he has been active with Boston University Schools of Communication and Management to help better prepare students for careers in an ever-evolving marketing landscape.
