Mother, Digitas, Organic Alum Rey Peralta Joins Deutsch NY

As SVP, Director of Creative Technology

March 5, 2013 - Deutsch NY Chief Creative Officer & Partner, Greg DiNoto announced today that the Agency has hired Rey Peralta as the SVP, Director of Creative Technology.

Peralta joins us from Mother, where he was the Director of Creative Technology since 2009. While he was there, he worked on several digital projects including, the launch of the Sour Patch Kids video game for Xbox, Sony PlayStation, iOS, and Android phones. In addition to leading digital work on accounts such as New Balance, Devo, Stella Artois, Google, JC Penny, and RIF.

“Rey is entrepreneurial, irrepressible and he gives added dimension to what we do creatively and strategically -- and he makes some very cool stuff…Proud to have him,” said DiNoto.

Additionally, he has held key positions at agencies including, Euro RSCG MVBMS and Digitas, as well as served as a consultant for agencies such as, BBDO, Y&R, DraftFCB, Organic and McCann Erickson.

Deutsch NY Hires Sheri R. Rosenberg

Deutsch NY Director of Integrated Production, Joe Calabrese announced today that the Agency has hired Sheri Radel Rosenberg as VP, Director of Art Buying for Deutsch.

Rosenberg spent the last two years as a freelance art buyer at agencies including, Anomaly, Google Creative Labs, Goodness Mfg., Ogilvy West and Co Collective.

When CP+B came calling in 2004, she moved to Miami where she was an art buyer for accounts including, Burger King, VW, Molson, Miller, Truth, Nike, and the Gap. Rosenberg rose to an executive art buyer during her seven-year stint at CP+B.

“We're really excited for Sheri to take our talented Art Production department to the next level, as we continue to integrate all of production,” said Calabrese.

Matthew George Joins Deutsch as SVP, Director of Communications Planning

November 7, 2012 New York – Deutsch NY Partner, Director of Business Insights and Communications Planning, Anush Prabhu, announced today that Matthew George has joined the Agency’s ever-growing Data Strategy and Communications Planning department. George is taking on the role of SVP, Director of Communications Planning, working on a range of clients, including Microsoft, PNC, and MilkPEP. Previously with JWT, George’s first day at the Deutsch NY was Monday, November 5.

“We believe there is a science and an art to determining how ideas are best taken to market to deliver the most impactful business results—Matthew is a seasoned master of that science and art,” said Prabhu. “We are glad to have him on board, helping us bring that thinking up front.”

As Group Planning Director, Communications Architecture at JWT New York, George spent close to nine years championing the Communication Planning discipline. During his tenure there, he developed and drove proprietary multichannel solutions for domestic and global clients, including JetBlue, Nestle, De Beers, Corporation for Travel Promotion (“Brand USA”), Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, and Bayer.

Prior to JWT, George was EVP, Group Director at Initiative Media, and also spent two years at BBH New York as Media Director/Managing Partner and part of the agency’s early U.S. start-up arm (he was employee #14).

George began his career at Grey New York, where he spent close to 17 years honing his craft and establishing an agency subsidiary dedicated to media-only accounts, including P&G, London Fog, and People Magazine.

Organic’s Karyn Pascoe Joins Deutsch NY has SVP, Group Creative Director

October 23, 2012 – New York – Deutsch New York Partner and Chief Creative Officer Greg DiNoto announced today that the Agency has hired Karyn Pascoe as SVP, Group Creative Director. Her first day at Deutsch is today.

"Karyn is an exceptionally talented creative director," said DiNoto. “Insightful, explorative, entrepreneurial, and a team builder all wrapped up in one. She will be a great addition to our family."

Pascoe comes to Deutsch from Organic, where she was Executive Creative Director, responsible for establishing the Agency’s creative vision and ensuring that her teams’ output reflected it. Pascoe managed a team of 40+ across various offices and oversaw creative work for all clients including Intel, P&G, The BBC, The Hartford, The Home Depot, and Bank of America.

Prior to Organic, Pascoe held posts at JWT, Frog Design, and Razorfish working on an array of top-tier clients including General Electric, MTV, Loreal, World Wildlife Foundation, Johnson & Johnson, Nestle, and Cartier.

Her work has won accolades from the Web Marketing Association, League of American Communications Professionals, Webby Awards, and the FWA.

Torsten Gross Loins Deutsch NY as SVP/Group Planning Director

R/GA’s Torsten Gross Joins Deutsch NY as SVP, Group Planning Director
October 5, 2012 – Deutsch NY Partner, Chief Strategy Officer Brent Vartan announced today that the Agency has hired Torsten Gross as SVP, Group Planning Director on the Microsoft Office business.

Most recently at R/GA, Gross is the latest senior hire in a rapidly growing and developing strategic team steered by Vartan. “I'm super excited Torsten has joined the crew. Torsten is an independent thinker who has a unique ability to turn ambition into action that inspires both creatives and clients alike," said Vartan.

As Group Planning Director at R/GA, Gross oversaw a portfolio of marquis brands, including Verizon Wireless and Telecom, Pfizer, AARP, PwC and Televisa.
Prior to his tour at R/GA, he founded and later sold FatBaby Innovation, a consultancy recognized for its unique business model. Gross' marketing expertise stems from time spent shaping communications positioning and business strategy for brands like Bank of America, Motorola, and The Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation at BBDO NY and media agency PHD. Torsten's expertise in innovation can be traced back to his time as Director of Strategy at Fahrenheit 212 where he worked on developing new products and services for clients like Coke, Capital One, and Starwood that helped redefine their positions in their respective marketplaces.

Gross is chairman and a founding member of Host For Good, an organization that helps host fundraising events for other charities. A graduate of Hofstra University and the Miami Ad School.
