Last year, M&C Saatchi launched CommBank with a poem that introduced the concept of Can. Our task this year was to come up with a suitable follow up. Something that was was disarming. Something that didn't feel like a bank ad but reinforced the idea that witht a little self belief, anything was possible. Using the insight 'When you believe you can, you can' we wrote a song for 67-year-old Steve Clisby, a self-taught musician and singer who rose to fame in Australia when he appeared on talent show The Voice. The song (echoing at Steve's musical journey, but carefully written to remind the audience of the power of the Can Ethos) was released on major music sites such as Google Play, Spotify and iTunes and distributed through TV, cinema and online.
