San Francisco-based agency Asterix Group (www.aserixgroup.com) has launched a campaign to market Sonoma County as a world-class wine region. The campaign was developed as part of a shared marketing partnership of Sonoma County Vintners, Sonoma County Winegrape Commission, and Sonoma County Tourism Bureau. 

The advertising showcases the diversity of the Sonoma County wine region and draws upon the heritage, history and contrasts that happily set it apart from other wine regions. 

The series kicks-off with 'We are Knotty. We are Nice. We are Sonoma County.' The ads feature an eye-catching vertical design highlighting the contrasts in Sonoma County in winemaking and grapegrowing to inform consumers in a compelling way. Like Sonoma County, itself the ads depict a genuine, independent, snappy and warm character.
