Kathleen Donald
Managing Director
kathleen.donald@c-e.com

Kathleen is Managing Director at CE. She is a member of the Campbell Ewald Operating Committee. She leads the U.S. Navy, Center for Disease Control, National Flight Academy, and USAA accounts. She brings deep understanding and the unique sensitivity required to be successful within a military cultural context.

A dynamic leader, Kathleen creates a high voltage environment. Her teams stretch beyond the comfort zone of most communications professionals to quickly meet rapidly changing consumer expectations with trendsetting market planning tactics. Twenty-five years ago she was a pioneer in integrated communications, later an early adopter of strategic planning and now extends the limits of digitally powered solutions and campaign analytics methodologies.

Joining CE in 1998, Kathleen was key to several new-business wins including ConocoPhillips (then Conoco), OnStar, USAA and the U.S. Navy — an account she has led through over 10 years of recurring success, a record in the era of the all-volunteer military force. Her campaign leadership has been recognized with the ARF David Ogilvy Grand Prize, the Effie Award and the AAF Mosaic Award.

Prior to CE at Ogilvy & Mather Detroit, Kathleen implemented strategic planning, won the first non-Ford business and directed work in 18 European countries from her post in London.
