About The One Club for Creativity

The One Club for Creativity (TOCC, www.oneclub.org), formed in 2016 out of the merger of The One Club and the Art Directors Club (ADC), is the foremost global nonprofit organization recognizing creative excellence in advertising and design. It was created with the mission to support and celebrate the the success of the global creative community.

Prestigious TOCC global recognition programs include The One Show, ADC Annual Awards, Creative Week, Young Guns for creatives 30 and under, Young Ones student awards, Creative Hall of Fame and One Screen Short Film Festival.

No other organization gives back to the advertising and design industries with the level of comprehensive educational and development programming on a global basis. The One Show and ADC Annual Awards generate the revenue that is then funneled right back into the industry to fund these important initiatives.

TOCC offers an unparalleled array of programming across creative disciplines. All initiatives fall under four key pillars: Education, Inclusion & Diversity, Professional Development and Gender Equality.Just a few of the examples of how TOCC gives back to the community include:

Creative Leaders Retreats for senior creatives.

Executive Creative Summits for agency founders/CCO/managing partners.

“Here Are All The Black People”, an annual full-day inclusion and diversity event of sessions that provide a space for multicultural creative professionals, students and recent graduates to enrich their careers and explore new opportunities. Educational and diversity sessions are led by top industry professionals; other activities include mentoring, portfolio reviews, recruiting booths, networking, live talent pitch competition and more.

Creative Boot Camps, where multicultural students from diverse backgrounds in locations around the world have the opportunity to work with the best agencies and creatives, and showcase their creative talents. During the four-day bootcamps, participants are introduced into the industry, learn about the creative process in advertising and how to create and present a campaign for a real client.

Portfolio Night, an annual global program long recognized as the world’s largest advertising portfolio review program, a fast-paced evening of advice, networking and recruitment that takes place in dozens of cities all across the globe on the same date to help the next generation of creative talent entering the industry; enables the best of the present — hundreds of renowned international creative directors — to meet and mentor the leaders of the future — thousands of aspiring young advertising creatives — in industry hubs around the world.

Next Creative Leaders, a program and event recognizing women in advertising, in partnership with the 3% Conference.

The 50/50 Initiative promoting gender equality on industry awards show juries.

Saturday Career Workshops for talented NYC high school students.

Henry Wolf Photography Workshop for NYC public school students.

Art & Copy, a documentary film produced by The One Club, won an Emmy Award after appearing on PBS Independent Lens.
