The “keeper of the flame,” The One Club is the world’s leading nonprofit organization whose mission is to champion and promote creative excellence in advertising and design. Founded in 1975, it honors and celebrates the legacy of creative advertising and promotes that legacy to inspire future generations, The One Club produces the prestigious One Show, One Show Design, One Show Interactive, and One Show Entertainment awards. The One Show remains the pinnacle of achievement by providing a showcase of the world’s best work, and by inviting collaboration among individuals that are actively developing outstanding work. One Show Gold Pencils are considered the ultimate achievement in the advertising world.
In 1995, The One Club established an education department, dedicated to fostering the creative talents of advertising students worldwide. It continues to educate and inspire students of the business, and benefit the next generation through scholarships, annual student exhibitions and such competitions as annual Young Ones Festival. As a part of this department, the Mosaic award-winning One Club Diversity Program conducts Creative Boot Camp workshops, portfolio reviews and outreach to multicultural students around the country.
The One Club also exists to inspire clients to seek the rewards that come with calculated risks and new ideas. As long as great ideas are allowed to take form, The One Club will continue to exist to encourage and promote them.
Art & Copy, a documentary film produced by The One Club, won an Emmy Award after appearing on PBS Independent Lens.

The One Show

The work is judged annually by an elite panel of award winning professionals including art directors, copywriters and creative directors, and the coveted One Show Gold Pencils are considered the ultimate achievement in the advertising industry, All One Show finalists are published each year in "The One Show: Advertising's Best Print, Radio and TV” annual. The One Show Awards ceremony is held each year in New York during Creative week.
