RAPP Appoints Troy Hitch as Global Chief Creative Officer

RAPP, a global, next-gen precision marketing agency, harnessing data, creativity, technology and empathy to drive client growth at scale, has appointed Troy Hitch as Global Chief Creative Officer.

Hitch spent over a decade in the Omnicom family before departing in early 2023 to explore solo ventures. Based in the U.S., he will lead RAPP’s creative efforts globally, reporting directly to U.S. President John Wells.

Hitch’s hire follows RAPP’s appointment of Amit Deshpande as Global Chief Marketing Sciences Officer. With the agency’s focus on precision marketing, Hitch and Deshpande’s roles help bridge the gap between creativity and technology on a global scale. Hitch will be responsible for cultivating a global creative community and driving innovation while leading teams to create content for clients that resonates at scale on a personalized level.

“We are thrilled to welcome Troy back to RAPP and to Omnicom,” says John Wells, President of RAPP U.S. “I look forward to seeing how he brings to life, through creative execution, the game-changing evolutions we’re making as a best-in-class precision marketing agency.”

Hitch brings over two decades of experience in the advertising and marketing industry to his new role as Global Chief Creative Officer. Outside of RAPP, he has held key leadership positions at Omnicom’s Proximity and BBDO agencies where he spearheaded campaigns that pushed creative boundaries and delivered award-winning results for clients like P&G, Frito-Lay, Warner Bros, Mars and Volkswagen. His strategic vision and passion for creative excellence make him the perfect candidate to lead RAPP's global creative efforts.

“From the onslaught of A.I. to the increasingly complicated consumer landscape, there’s never been a more exciting or challenging time to be a precision-marketing agency leader,” says Hitch. “Returning to RAPP to lead the smartest, most innovative teams in the world to tackle it all is truly an honor.”
