MEC today announced the promotion of Bruce Kiernan and Zsuzsa Szemere to Performance Marketing Practice Lead and Digital Strategy Practice Lead, respectively, adding to its already robust U.S. digital leadership bench. Both appointments are part of an ongoing strategy to fuel the agency's digital and data acceleration.

Bruce will be responsible for delivering robust performance marketing strategies for clients while deepening the agency’s data and audience planning capabilities. He will also be the thread between the Digital and Analytics & Insight teams making expert use of data, insights, and the agency’s proprietary research tools such as CookieCutterTM (its digital attribution solution) and Audience Architecture to maximize campaign effectiveness. Bruce brings to the table his experience as Senior Director of Programmatic leading all programmatic strategy for client AT&T. In this position, he focused on driving growth through the use of data and real-time buying, while guiding the client through the complexities of the programmatic space. Bruce’s past experience includes work across brands such as IBM, Intel, Sprint, Nextel during time at Mindshare, along with Reckitt Benckiser and Farmers Insurance.
Zsuzsa will lead MEC’s Digital Strategy team, streamlining communications with senior clients as well as shareholders to deliver genuinely integrated media plans. Zsuzsa brings to the role 14 years of media experience, most recently, leading digital for clients IKEA and Tiffany & Co. through the implementation of unified strategies that place not just audiences but people at the center of the planning process. Her past experience includes digital roles at Time Warner Cable, Kodak, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Cisco Systems, Siemens, MTV, Goldman Sachs and DuPont. Zsuzsa also spent time at J3, Neo@Ogilvy New York and MindShare London managing client accounts including Johnson & Johnson’s Oral Care business, IBM, Land Rover and Sony PlayStation interactive media across Europe.
