About MEC Europe, Middle East and Africa

We have a stretching global ambition:
“To be our clients’ most valuable business partner, famous for inspiring people and exceptional results.”

If you like ordinary, we’re not for you.

If ‘beyond comfort’ thrills you, if ‘expanding possible’ attracts, then you’ll do your best work here.
You’ll do it because we’ll provoke you, challenge you and unashamedly ask for more.
We believe there are no limits for passion, imagination and wonder. And it’s only when we explore the unknown that we can truly thrive.
That's why we're so passionate about investing in our people to help them thrive collectively and individually.
We’ll reach out and help you explore the uncharted because that’s where ideas flourish. It’s where people and brands grow.
You owe it to yourself and we owe it to our clients. It’s the MEC way.
Don’t just live. Thrive.

MEC Promotes Top Digital Talent

MEC today announced the promotion of Bruce Kiernan and Zsuzsa Szemere to Performance Marketing Practice Lead and Digital Strategy Practice Lead, respectively, adding to its already robust U.S. digital leadership bench. Both appointments are part of an ongoing strategy to fuel the agency's digital and data acceleration.

Regarding the announcement, Shenan Reed, President, Digital, North America, said, “We continue to make strategic investments in our digital offer to keep pace with client demands. Bruce and Zsuzsa are proven talents capable of pushing our agency and our clients’ businesses forward. Their experience navigating the complexities of our evolving media environment will allow us to more seamlessly integrate data and digital into everything we do, driving ROI for clients across our multi-functional teams.”

Bruce will be responsible for delivering robust performance marketing strategies for clients while deepening the agency’s data and audience planning capabilities. He will also be the thread between the Digital and Analytics & Insight teams making expert use of data, insights, and the agency’s proprietary research tools such as CookieCutterTM (its digital attribution solution) and Audience Architecture to maximize campaign effectiveness. Bruce brings to the table his experience as Senior Director of Programmatic leading all programmatic strategy for client AT&T. In this position, he focused on driving growth through the use of data and real-time buying, while guiding the client through the complexities of the programmatic space. Bruce’s past experience includes work across brands such as IBM, Intel, Sprint, Nextel during time at Mindshare, along with Reckitt Benckiser and Farmers Insurance.

Zsuzsa will lead MEC’s Digital Strategy team, streamlining communications with senior clients as well as shareholders to deliver genuinely integrated media plans. Zsuzsa brings to the role 14 years of media experience, most recently, leading digital for clients IKEA and Tiffany & Co. through the implementation of unified strategies that place not just audiences but people at the center of the planning process. Her past experience includes digital roles at Time Warner Cable, Kodak, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Cisco Systems, Siemens, MTV, Goldman Sachs and DuPont. Zsuzsa also spent time at J3, Neo@Ogilvy New York and MindShare London managing client accounts including Johnson & Johnson’s Oral Care business, IBM, Land Rover and Sony PlayStation interactive media across Europe.
