- Yogurt and water marketing giant Danone has selected Carat to handle North American media planning and buying duties after a review.
- Alpina Foods, the U.S. arm of South American brand, Alpina, hired INNOCEAN USA to strengthen the company’s brand with American audiences and launch Alpina’s first major U.S. advertising campaign for its line of Greek yogurts. INNOCEAN will be responsible for developing a multimedia and experiential marketing campaign to support Alpina Foods’ new above-the-line campaign in select U.S. markets across the East Coast.
- Homebuilding company, PulteGroup, has named Organic as its agency of record, following a review. Organic will lead all strategy, creative, and digital experience across the PulteGroup brand portfolio, including its Centex, Pulte Homes, Del Webb and Pulte Mortgage brands. Organic’s Omnicom sister shop, Agency 720, which specializes in local marketing, will help to execute TV, radio and print elements.
- Zimmerman Advertising won a pitch to oversee a website redesign for White Castle. Zimmerman has served as White Castle’s agency of record since 2008, and currently handles all of White Castle’s marketing, including traditional, social and digital, which was won in 2011. White Castle spent $1.5 million on TV advertising between January and June of 2013, $4.9 million on radio ads and $538,000 on Internet advertising during the same time period, according to Kantar Media.
