Gavin™ acquires TFM Advertising and names Tom Hollerbach agency president

On the heels of being named a Central Penn Business Journal Top 50 Fastest Growing Company, Gavin™, a digitally minded public relations and marketing agency, today announced that it has acquired TFM Advertising. With this acquisition, Gavin has named Tom Hollerbach president of the agency.

The acquisition expands Gavin’s services to include virtual reality, large-scale video production and national brand marketing and strategy. In addition to the agency’s downtown headquarters in York, PA, it will also now have an office in downtown Harrisburg, PA.

With the naming of Tom Hollerbach as agency president, Mandy Arnold will transition to CEO, focusing on the agency’s vision for the future, while overseeing public relations, crisis communications and brand strategy for Gavin’s clients.

“Our vision for the agency is to put York on the creative map while showing that Main Street can give Madison Avenue a run for its money,” said Mandy Arnold, CEO of Gavin™. “As we continually evaluate how we advance our agency to support our clients and recruit great talent, our goal is to build a forward-thinking team capable of delivering advanced solutions for the changing world of communications.

“In growing the agency to 20 staff in five years, it has become more and more important to ensure that we strategically align our growth plans with the expansion of our senior marketing expertise and leadership,” Arnold continued. “I am very excited to have Tom Hollerbach join our team and take the helm of the agency as we think forward strategically and embark on our next phase of growth.”

Tom brings extensive experience having managed brands large and small while leading various marketing communications companies over the past 20 years. His career spans key leadership roles at heavy hitting agencies, including serving as the president and CEO of BBDO West, and  at Texas-based Blackboard Co, where he led the agency to become one of the country’s fastest-growing boutique agencies.

“I’m incredibly excited to be joining Gavin,” said Tom Hollerbach, president of Gavin. “With eyes on expanding our footprint and continually innovating in our industry, I expect we’ll have more news coming from our team in the near future.  This collaboration of our teams benefits our current and prospective clients with new service offerings, truly positioning Gavin as a full-service agency.  We believe this combining of agency power positions Gavin for a continued growth
