Victoria Casano leading Momentum Shopper in Argentina

Buenos Aires City, November 2012.- Santiago Puiggari, President of McCann Worldgroup Argentina, announced today the launch of the local branch of Momentum Shopper. Momentum Shopper Argentina, operating within global communications network McCann Worldgroup, directly taps the leading global shopper marketer expertise, talent and resources of worldwide co-creation agency Momentum Worldwide.

The initial scope of Momentum Shopper Argentina services include the identification of actionable shopper and retailer insights, strategy development, solution design and point-of-sale activation.

Puiggari has also welcomed Victoria Casano as managing director of Momentum Shopper Argentina. A recognized thought leader and innovator in the shopper arena, Casano joins from a role leading the shopper Marketing department for the South Latin Business Unit at The Coca-Cola Company, where she spent most of her professional career.

The new Momentum Shopper team – operating from the new McCann Buenos Aires offices in Olivos – has begun work for clients of McCann Worldgroup’s portfolio in Argentina. Plans are in development to expand the agency’s services and local client base, while developing projects for the larger Latin American network.

The Momentum Shopper Argentina launch is the newest in a series of McCann Worldgroup Argentina growth initiatives announced this year, following the creation of the Creative Technology team, integrating advertising talent and communications with engineering and technology; and the repositioning of McCann Buenos Aires with creative leadership by Chavo D’Emilio.
