Our managing partners

Lucinda Peniston-Baines: She has worked extensively across the Agency Management and Selection discipline since 2002 accruing a bank of domestic and international client experience having advised Microsoft UK, Lloyds TSB, VF Europe, HP Bulmer and Electrolux.

Lucinda graduated in the early 90’s and worked agency-side in account management encompassing above-the-line and integrated experience, as well as brand consultancy. She has led account teams for advertising agencies including Grey and HHCL (now United).

Stuart Pocock: He spent the last seven years consulting within this specialist category and created The Observatory in 2006. He has a wealth of domestic and international experience, being responsible for co-ordinating pitches for Sony Ericsson, Jaguar and Microsoft.

Stuart started his career on the Client side with Goodyear Tyre and International Paints and entered the ad industry as a writer before moving into account handling and then planning. He spent 19 years running agencies in the UK, before moving into this arena in 1999.
