Story | To dramatize that concept, the film stars two Portuguese male top models, that, besides being very famous, are identical twin brothers. The film starts with both of them in a photographic session. Then we follow on of them, Ricardo, who is constantly mistaken by everybody (the fashion photographer, the newspaper salesman, a friend) for his brother Pedro, which makes him answer every greeting with an increasingly annoyed "Hello, but I'm not Pedro". When he is already very upset with his identity being mistaken, he eventually enters his Bank (Banif), where finally he is greeted by his real nam by his Bank Manager, thus showing that even if you have a twin you are still an individual, and Banif knows it. The voice over then states: "There's a place where each person is unique and each solution is specifically designed to answer your own needs. Banif. There are no two people alike". In the post-packshot, Ricardo comes out of the Bank and bumps into Pedro's girlfriend, who also mistakes him for his brother. This time however, though he begins to talk as if he meant to correct her by saying the recurrent line "Hello, but I'm not Pedro', he eventually ends up by saying: "Hello, but I... didn't know you also came to Banif!". |
