| Story | “Facing” is an art project developed by Fabrica’s Social Engagement Campaigns Area, under the art direction of Erik Ravelo. An installation made of metal leaves painted with faces of women disfigured by acid, the project uses acid to burn portraits of the women on to the metal. The message is: acid is used not to destroy, but to create beauty.Thanks to the no-profit organization Smile Again fvg Fabrica met Iram Saeed, a Pakistani activist and victim of an acid attack. Iram spent some days at Fabrica and worked on this artistic project together with our creatives. |
