Story | For the duration of the commercial we see a close up of a teenagers face (later introduced as Rachel) looking directly to camera from her hospital bed. Titles appear throughout, the first explaining that Rachel would like to chat, although as time passes we realise that she is unable to have a conversation. The role of the nurse is then introduced as we hear a nurse speaking to Rachel and we understand that with her ongoing help and perseverance, the conversation will soon to two-way. Rachel responds to the nurse with a slight (although impactful) smile demonstrating the results of the nurse's commitment so far. The commercial ends with titles explaining that the NHS needs more nurses and a phone number for further information. |
