Story | Like all good Hollywood films this new advert has high drama, jealousy, a cheesy soundtrack and a touch of slow motion soft focus. Through a series of hilarious montages, one which includes a grand piano serenade, viewers are set to see a love struck Gary fantasize about the new object of his affections, his beloved Walkers Crinkles crisps. His suspicious on-screen girlfriend, Elle ‘The Body’ Macpherson, slowly starts to discover the truth of his true love. Through a comical sequence that involves smashed photo frames; Gary’s Harley Davidson; some petrol; and a lit match, scorned Elle exacts her revenge resulting in a dramatic climax. As she flees the house with his cherished crisps, Gary rushes to catch a last glimpse of his Walkers Crinkles whilst the comical chorus music chimes in: ‘I had a groovy kind of love’. |
