Story | A boy in a wheelchair struggles with a basketball and rolls into the living room. In search for a playfellow he dribbles the ball onto the floor. His father is sleeping on the couch, but then suddenly turns round, grabs the ball and throws it out of the French window. The boy jumps up and runs afterwards, while his dad lifts himself into the wheel chair. For 35 years we are giving a future to disabled children. |
Philosophy | Afar from stereotypical images full of pityfulness the commercial Basketball focuses on the charitys effects: supporting disabled children gives them their chance to live their own life to the fullest. Nothing else could be a better cause for donating! |
Problem | Licht ins Dunkel (Light into the Dark) is one of the largest humanitarian initiatives in Austria. For the past 35 years the charity has been collecting donations for the benefit of physically and/or mentally disabled children. Making people aware of the high importance of integration is the task of advertising. With a well-known initiative and within many organisations collecting donations the advertising must have strong impact. |
