Positions

Co-Lead of Account Management/Group Account Director
Boulder, United States
Steve Barry is a salty, old ad veteran. He started his career 20 years ago at CPB in Miami, where he worked on lifestyle and sport brands Merrell, AND1, Schwinn, Giro and Shimano. Lured home to the West, he then spent seven years at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners in San Francisco, working on Saturn, Goodyear Tires, Pony Footwear, Subway, AT&T Wireless and TiVo. A job at Wieden+Kennedy then took Steve to Portland, OR, for three years where he managed both Starbucks and EA Sports, working across the Madden, NBA Live and Tiger Woods Golf games. In 2013, he had the amazing opportunity to work with some old W+K friends at a new agency in Portland called Red&Co. There he managed the Google MadewithCode.com campaign and helped establish agency infrastructure for this new upstart. He then took a full-time job as the first Managing Director of EVB’s Boulder office, and led account management teams on Noosa Yoghurt and the global Jameson Irish Whiskey social account. Making his return back to CPB in the summer of 2016, Steve oversees the U.S. and Global teams on the INFINITI account, ensuring collaboration, consistency and continuity across all advertising communications worldwide. When he’s not making ads, Steve is skiing or camping with his wife and two young girls, or putting too much money into restoring a 1976 VW Westy.
