A new wave of female athletes has emerged. Nike is exploring a generation of women who go above and beyond, run faster, and make it an extra mile to be better than they have ever been. Now Nike is challenging all women and girls to join this new generation and to discover their inner tenacity, audacity and spontaneity through sport.
We were delighted to help extend this message, with three short pieces edited by James Rosen. The films feature accomplished women from the worlds of music and sport–Marlou van Rhijn, Ellie Goulding, and Icona Pop–to embody this spirit. The campaign extends beyond the films. With #JustDoIt, women are invited to sign up and train for races together, share their victory moments through photos, and of course “accessorize their attitude.”
The “Just Do It” tagline is over 25 years old and still going strong. In the last year, the redefined campaign has challenged various cultural icons through film, digital and social media — and the audience — to push themselves to new limits.
Marlou van Rhijn – Speed of Light
Ellie Goulding – Ready For Anything
