Prime Focus World Creative Director and Stereographer, Richard Baker chaired a discussion yesterday in the Post Production Theatre of the Broadcast Video Expo at the Excel Centre, London. The theme of the discussion was the pressing topic of “Delivering creative Post that meets time and budget restraints”.
On the panel was Carl Grinter, Head of Production at Rushes, Will Cohen, CEO of Milk VFX, Gina Fucci, Managing Director at Films@59 and Bill McNamara, Creative Head 2D Advertising at MPC.
Richard and the panel covered a range of topics - from ‘Do clients understand the time required to deliver creative post?’ to discussions on whether regional companies can be more competitive than London based outfits.
Other topics up for discussion included the benefits of getting involved early on a project and how boutiques and smaller companies deal with last minute changes.
