The campaign bills Applegate’s product as “The Cleaner Wiener,” as it contains none of the hormones, antibiotics, or artificial preservatives that typically go into other companies’ meat.
 
Problem Applegate is on a mission to "change the meat we eat."
"81% of consumers in a recent survey reported that they would prefer to give their kids hot dogs that contain only beef, water, salt and spices," said Neil Leinwand, SVP of Marketing at Applegate. "And we're happy to give the people what they want."
