Story | Ad Nut doesn't like sharks but doesn't like the idea of them becoming extinct and ending up in people's soups either. Ad Nut appreciates how this 30-second film uses an insight about Hong Kong weddings and the consumption of shark fin soup to create a scene in which a wedding couple cut off a shark's fin and kick it back into the water. The "found footage" style of shooting of course mirrors the archival footage used in shark hunting documentaries, and Ad Nut commends the VFX and compositing job done with the bride and groom. A nice little detail is the bride's costume, which makes the video more unsettling. |
