Story | Very simple signs were made and placed into the sand in various public areas playgrounds, golf courses and beaches. With minimal budget we had to get the message in peoples faces in a simple and cost effective way, whilst still ensuring impact. They convey the message that you either hide from the truth of what is really going on in the world, or you do something by logging on to the IRC site and becoming informed. Unlike many similar messages, this one is not asking for donations. It is challenging you to not hide from reality, but to find out what is happening. To make people stop and think. To make them question themselves and ask What is happening in Darfur? To drive them to the site to find out more. The uniqueness of the placement was guaranteed to get attention. |
