Andrew has been CEO of Ogilvy Australia, with companies specialising in advertising, direct marketing, digital, activation, digital media, brand strategy, photography and video, design and ethnic communications.
Andrew’s first role in the advertising world was with Young & Rubicam Melbourne in 1993 and he steadily rose to Head of Account Management at Young & Rubicam Sydney in 1998. He became Advertising Associates’ Managing Director in 2002, before joining Singleton Ogilvy & Mather in 2004. He expanded Ogilvy Group in Melbourne exponentially and was soon promoted to CEO.
Andrew has provided his skills and services to many of Australia’s largest companies and brands: MYER, Wesfarmers, BMW, Australia Post, AAMI, KFC, Kimberly Clark, Puma, Colgate-Palmolive, News Limited, BP, Nintendo, Nestle, Cadbury, Kraft, Fosters, Shell, Toll Ipec, H&R Block, Jim Beam, Converse & Westpac, NSW, Victorian and Federal Governments.
He has varied interests and his leadership shines through in other arenas, including as the Chairman of The Song Room and the Melbourne Aces, and his positions on the Board of the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation and the Communications Council.
Andrew is a member of the St Kilda Football Club. He did play over 200 senior games in the VAFA and NSW AFL, coached at a senior level in the NSW AFL, hosted an AFL program on the Fox Footy channel and commentated in the sport for five years. Andrew balances his dedication to advertising, sport and the business community.
