Story Co2 – the climate killer. In 2007, no other topic has dominated environmetal policy more. For good reason: According to the most recent climate models, global temperature will rise by 3.5 degrees Celsius within the near future – meaning the end to many ecosystems.
For years, Greenpeace has been fighting against this threat. We came to their aid – with a simple idea, which can be spread easily and economically (cost-efficient) across the internet: a free screensaver, which can be installed on every computer. As soon as the screensaver kicks in (comes on), a familiar image appears on the monitor: colorful, tropical fish swimming in the ocean. But when the user returns to his computer after a few minutes, he will find a completetely different sight...
...Finally our message appears: „Turning off your computer saves a lot more than just energy.“ By doing so, we achieved to make the medium itself to be the message.
