Story We had to promote the efficiency of the E-Class at the car show room. Our Idea: from the Mercedes-Benz headquarters in Stuttgart to Rome it's about 1.000 km. That's how far the E-Class gets without a tank stop. We made the visitors of the Mercedes-Benz showroom see for themselves how far you can get with an E-Class.We drove all the way from Stuttgart to Rome and took one picture every second. Then we combined all 40.000 pictures to one giant poster that show the whole journey. Each picture measures about 2 cm x 1 cm - so the viewers can observe each one from close. The first an last rows are a bit bigger - so you can also understand the idea from further away.In total the giant poster measures 356 x 252 cm.
Philosophy From the Mercedes-Benz headquarters in Stuttgart to Rome it’s about 1000 km. That’s how far the E-Class gets without a tank stop. Our idea: We make the users experience themselves how far you can get with an E-Class.
Problem Promote the efficiency of the E-Class limousine in an online campaign.
Result We drove all the way from Stuttgart to Rome and took one picture every second. Then we combined all 40.000 pictures to an online banner. The users can navigate the whole journey themselves – like a flip book – by scrolling down. 3 million pixels long.
