After graduating from Cambridge, Joanna began her career with BMP DDP, where her accounts included VW, Dulux and Marmite.
She joined Lowe in 1996 where her clients have included Vauxhall, Weetabix, UDV, and Olympus. She ran the agency's effectiveness programme, helping produce 13 winning papers in the last year. She has won two APG Creative Planning
Awards and co-authored the Grand Prix winning Tesco IPA paper. She was appointed to the board in 1997 and made Head of Planning in 2001.
