Story Kia’s new integrated campaign positions the Optima as aspirational to customers through the concept of “discovery.” Broadcast, outdoor and digital elements combine to reach right and left-brain individuals who strive for a richer life, measured in terms of experiences, not money. Yes, a trusted vehicle is foundational, but because these consumers have an eye for design and an impulse for performance, their ideal sedan goes way beyond reliability.
Two :30 TV spots bring the tagline “Discover the New Kia” to life by featuring the charmingly humorous adventures of new Optima owners as they discover the joys of this sporty sedan. In "Quit Job", which launched this week, we meet a man who’s upset with his son’s decision to upend his life and embark on a seemingly impulsive and irresponsible cross-country jaunt for the experience of a lifetime. A surprising twist ensues.
