Shawn Crahan of Slipknot and starring Kim Coates (Sons of Anarchy), Officer Downe is a live action film adapted from the cult graphic novel by Joe Casey and Chris Burnham. The film premiered at the LA Film Festival on June 3rd, taking audiences on a crazy ride alongside Downe, a deceased police officer telekinetically resurrected to fight crime as long as immortally possible. Emphasizing every gruesome action sequence and every twisted punch line, Doobie White and Meg Ramsay (Editors); Jeff Fuller (Mixer); Eddie Kim (Sound); Robert Curreri (Colorist); Omar Inguanzo (Digital Intermediate); Rachel Morrer, Geoff Stephenson, Cary Welton and Wren Walters (Finishing) bring out every instance of pure, unbridled mayhem. Therapy’s sister company Visual Creatures also lent their infallible eye for design to create the opening title graphics. |
