Story There are 15 million children in bonded labour in India today. Though they are all around us, we just don’t see them.
We wanted to use cricket, India’s most popular sport, to demonstrate that child abuse is closer to our lives than we think. We put up huge vinyls of a child’s face just behind the stumps at a practice net. Over time, the ball repeatedly made contact with the face. In a few days, the child’s face had visibly been scarred.
