David Bernstein
Executive Creative Director
Unlike most advertising writers, David doesn't have a screenplay in his desk drawer. Mostly because he keeps an ungodly amount of ketchup packets there. But also because he just plain likes writing ads.
Today, David is the Executive Creative Director of The Gate Worldwide and sits on its International Board of Directors.
During his tenure at The Gate, he and Managing Director Beau Fraser repositioned the agency, won dozens of accounts and co-wrote the best-selling business book, "Death To All Sacred Cows"—which has been translated into eight languages.
Over the years, his work has made regular appearances at the One Show, Clios and Art Directors Club Awards. But the only thing his mother brags about is that one of his Hallmark commercials is part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art.
The irony is, neither he nor his mother has ever gone to see it.
