Tagline | This is what life feels like to butterfly children |
Story | Epidermolysis Bullosa, known as EB, is the name of a group of genetic disorders causing blistering and shearing of the skin from even the gentlest friction, often from everyday activities. The youngest sufferers are called butterfly children because their skin is as fragile as a butterflys wing. A life with this disease is extremely painful. |
Philosophy | We relied on cooperations for airing the campaign. Therefore there was no main focus on media-planning for this campaign, but we managed to achieve airings in Print, TV and billboards in December. |
Problem | The main objective of the campain is to create awareness for EB and generate donations. Without stigmatizing all relevant people by using repulsive images the campaign shows in a very subtile way how life feels to a butterfly child. |
