Title | My Dad |
Brief | A young girl is trying to get the attention of her work-at-home dad, who is conversing with a colleague via Skype. Frustrated, the girl raids her pocket money and heads out to the local print store. But why? She emerges with a life-sized cardboard cut-out of her dad. Her friends and neighbours are bemused as she marches home with it, with a brief stop at the supermarket. But then we see the point of the ruse: she places the cardboard replica in front of Skype so she and dad can enjoy a Hershey’s snack together. |

Story | In our fast-paced world, it's easy to get caught up in a daily grind and forget the simple things that really make us happy. "My Dad" follows the story of Scarlett – a young girl who embarks on a journey to reconnect with her busy dad. To further the message, we collaborated with Steve Winwood, who recorded a new version of his song “Higher Love” with his daughter Lilly – "My Dad" is a film about a dad and daughter, scored by a dad and daughter. |
