In 2010, Mabrouk directed most episodes of Maison Close, a French television series narrating the lives of three women inside a Parisian luxury bordello at the end of the 19th Century. His film The Cold Light of Day with Bruce Willis and Sigouney Weaver is due to come out in 2012.Mabrouk is part of the new guard of international French directors going back and forth between fiction and commercials; an amazing actor’s director who is as comfortable with comedy and action as with elaborate art direction.
