Story In 1967 women were not allowed to run marathons, but Kathrine Switzer didn't know that. She signed up for the Boston Marathon with her initials, K.V. Switzer, unaware that what she did would change women's sports history.Her bib was 261.46 years later this number continues to inspire us and has become the name for the first Women´s Marathon in Spain.
