The Hours is a music company founded in January 2008 by Leslie Dubest and Alexandre Sap (who previously established Recall Records) along with Fabien Moreau, an entrepreneur with strong expertise in the fields of Communications and Entertainment. The Hours was a record label signed to Universal for worldwide distribution, as well as a creative music production and consultancy platform for brands. In July 2008, The Hours became the first ever record label to be acquired by a major advertising network - creating a new business model - as Havas, the fifth largest advertising network, took a 51% stake in the venture. The Hours artists roster featured Dan Black, Cazals, Fires Of Rome, Dadalife, Elbow, AutoKratz, Via Tania and Casxio amongst others and clients such as Cartier, Tommy Hilfiger, Harry Winston, Absolut, Aramis Fragrances, Hublot and Pernod-Ricard Group.
This unique venture has lead to numerous world class projects & collaborations with artists such as Jay Z, Lou Reed, Phoenix, Lady Gaga, Air, Marion Cotillard, Mark Ronson, The Ting Tings, Kid Cudi, Little Dragon, Dan Black or Theophilus London to name a few.

Recall Records was a french indie label and publishing company est. in 1996. The venture started with SIN&#39;s first album - signed to Virgin Records for the world - and later developed an extensive repertoire of artists, wether signed locally or from abroad - through artist deals and licenses - such as The Servant, Grand National, Jehro, Terranova, Mylo, Dj Cam, Bang Gang, Hawksley Workman, Robots in Disguise, I AM X or The A.M to name a few. Recall was distributed by SONY and Warner. In 2004, Recall Records expanded to the U.S.A through a distribution deal with Warner&#39;s Independent Label Group and settled in New York where it remained active until the label&#39;s closure in 2007.
