Alexander Taylor is an industrial designer who established his design studio in 2002. The products he creates are informed by ongoing research, development and collaborations with the industry’s finest minds, working towards the most appropriate and innovative solutions.
After working with with the likes of ClassiCon, Zanotta and Alexander McQueen, he was approached by Adidas in 2008 to work on a project for the London Olympic Games. Challenged with creating something completely new for the footwear industry, he developed PrimeKnit, which was hailed as one of the most sustainable and innovative products ever produced by the brand. The technology is now used in the making of tens of millions of shoes each year. He continues to work with Adidas as a design and innovation consultant.
