After a competitive review, AccuWeather, recognized and documented as the most accurate source of weather forecasts and warnings in the world, selected Huge, the global experience agency (NYSE: IPG), as its strategic partner on digital initiatives, effective immediately. The agency will be tasked with co-developing the new AccuWeather global mobile application for iOS and Android, as well as other selected digital initiatives.
AccuWeather is a global digital media company that provides highly accurate commercial weather forecasting services to a worldwide audience in a highly scalable manner. The brand’s API supports over 60 billion data requests on a daily basis, enabling its advanced technical infrastructure to build best-in-class weather-related services.
In this new relationship, the agency will be responsible for co-developing AccuWeather’s new global mobile application for iOS and Android and seamlessly integrating this into the brand’s product and technology teams. Huge and AccuWeather are working side-by-side with an integrated team model to leverage all expertise. In addition to digital product development, Huge will be responsible for design exploration, user testing, feature development, user engagement, retention support, and ongoing user research.
