Cindy Judge

Cindy Judge

President, CEO

Cindy has led SRG’s global practice for more than a decade, serving as a trusted, talented, and tireless client engagement leader for the firm’s blue-chip Fortune 500 clients as well as an impressive portfolio of smaller, more entrepreneurial brands.

As president and CEO, Cindy oversees all areas of SRG’s operations, including client service, business development, talent acquisition, and more, across the firm’s consulting and communications practices.

Cindy’s roots in food run deep. She began her career at J. Walter Thompson in Chicago, where she led the agency’s work across multiple product categories for major clients, including Kraft and Oscar Mayer. Cindy then joined the Kraft brand management team, working in the company’s grocery products, cheese, and convenience foods divisions.

Before her role as CEO of SRG, Judge served as chief client service officer for the 34-year-old firm. She has deep experience in the areas of strategy, innovation, brand development, portfolio innovation, insights, design, and communications across industry sectors, including food, beverage, personal care, home care, vehicles, pharmaceuticals, and financial services.

Joan joined SRG in 1996 as Controller and HR Director, and later became Chief Financial Offer, leading business operations and helping grow the company from 35 to more than 130 employees.

In 2017, Joan became the agency’s first-ever Chief Operating Officer. In this expanded role, Joan provides leadership and vision across all aspects of the firm’s business, including business strategy, operations, finance and accounting, human resources, and information technology.

Joan serves on the Board of Directors for Sterling-Rice Group, Inc. She is part of the CU Leeds’s Women’s Council and a former YWCA Boulder County Board member. Her professional memberships include Colorado Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs.

Ed’s business career began at Leo Burnett Advertising Agency in Chicago. He joined Bayer Bess Vanderwarker advertising agency in 1987 as vice president of strategic planning where he continued to work for some of the best brands in the world. In 1994, Ed joined Boston Chicken as vice president of concept and helped grow it into the world’s largest home-meal-replacement restaurant.


Ed joined SRG as a senior consultant in 1997. He has led the development of breakthrough new products for Hershey, Sabra, and Del Monte, and he created positioning architectures for Schick-Wilkinson Sword, HomeInstead Senior Care, and Einstein Bros Bagels. He currently leads our Innovation, Culinary, and Design practice. 

Adam Wohl

Executive Creative Director

An award-winning advertising creative, Adam has spent his life telling stories. After graduating Syracuse University with a degree in film, he wrote television and film scripts for studios and networks for several years. Interested in the intersection of storytelling and technology, Adam also co-founded MIR, an award-winning creative agency that worked directly with brands and partnered with other ad agencies when mobile, social and emerging technology was becoming part of every advertising conversation. MIR grew to twenty-five people before Adam and his partners sold MIR in 2011 to holding company Publicis. Adam next free-lanced as a Creative Director at Wieden+Kennedy, Portland on Nike and at Kaplan-Thaler in New York City, rebranding Wendy's.

He was then hired as Group Creative Director/Head of Advertising U.S. of Cheil Worldwide to lead the Global Samsung account. During his tenure, Samsung had its most successful year in history, with operating profit doubling every quarter, and entering Interbrand’s top ten for the first time, with creative work winning numerous awards and honors, including Social Media Brand and Viral brand of the Year. After leaving Cheil, Adam joined mcgarrybowen as Executive Creative Director, where he led the United Airlines, Marriott, and P&G accounts, worked on the Verizon, Intel, Chase, Maserati, Staples, and Chevron businesses, and led the new business pitch wins for Intel ($90M) and Kraft/Mondelez($20M).

Adam was next hired by TBWA\Chiat\Day as Global Creative Director to lead the pitch win for what would be the agency’s biggest client, GoDaddy (annual agency fee $14M). He also led the pitch win for IZZE (a division of Pepsi). In addition, Adam lead the global Michelin, NBC and Bank New York Mellon accounts, and worked on McDonald's, Travelers Insurance and Thomson-Reuters. Since March of 2017, Adam has served as Executive Creative Director and Partner of SRG. In his first six months at SRG, advertising revenue increased by 26%, and the agency counted new business wins, including Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers. Over the course of his advertising career, Adam has worked on five of the top ten brands in the world and ten of the top twenty. His work has won numerous awards, including the Cannes Lion. 

Dan Burak

Dan has been on three sides of a brand's value proposition: retail, client, and agency. His passion is understanding and affecting how a product gets to shelf (real or virtual), and then how one succeeds in moving product off of said shelf. Mixed in is a heavy dose of consumer understanding, learning about new companies and brand challenges as they relate to new business, and marketing, branding, and innovation best practices. At SRG, Dan manages client businesses, drives business development, and runs marketing and PR for the firm.


Prior to joining SRG in 2008, Dan spent six years as a senior strategy associate at a small brand consulting and communications firm in Boulder, CO, helping it grow from five associates to 45+. While there, Dan led the majority of new business development efforts, as well as worked across a number of client brands. Dan started his career in the buying office of a national retail chain, then jumped client side for a few years, working in channel marketing, strategy, and development. In the technology sector, Dan helped launch ever-faster modems from U.S. Robotics, the Palm brand, and 3Com’s broadband offerings online and at retail, among other roles.

A culinary and strategic thought leader in CPG and foodservice trends, Liz tracks and predicts the future of food and beverage. The author of SRG’s bi-annual publications; Trendjectories, Top Cutting Edge Trends and The Natural Nine–Liz provides insight into the future of the foodscape for both CPG and foodservice. Liz also provides culinary business perspective and strategic insights for all food-related innovation and brand projects.

After graduating from CIA in Hyde Park, NY-Liz began her culinary career by promptly opening her own restaurant in Boca Raton, Florida which quickly expanded into a multi-unit concept as well an off-premise catering company. Liz has worked for some of the top restaurants and hotels around the country, is a published food writer and a serial entrepreneur. She joined the SRG in 2016 and has brought with her the entrepreneurial mindset needed to help clients combat disruption in their respective categories.

As the Managing Director for the Innovation team, Mindy leads the SRG’s 30+ strategists and the agency’s Culinary practice, driving the operations and growth of the agency’s consulting practice. Since she joined SRG in 2011, Mindy has been responsible for insight-led innovation architecture for many Fortune 500 brands and companies, including S.C. Johnson, Clorox, and Purina Beyond.

Mindy has also led agency initiatives to develop and incubate new services and offerings, including the development of SRG’s WhiteSpace, a proprietary digital innovation software to focus on iterative and continuous innovation, which has revolutionized SRG’s approach to innovation. 

Jen Jones

Jennifer has cultivated a depth and breadth of expertise in design and branding over 20 years and across three continents. Prior to joining Sterling-Rice Group, Jennifer worked at branding firms in Hong Kong and London and at Landor in San Francisco, where she gained international experience across diverse categories such as financial services, hospitality, and CPG with clients including Accenture, FedEx, HP, Coors, and the U.S. Olympic Team.


Since 2005, Jennifer has led the design practice at SRG, with a focus on brand identity and packaging design for clients including Frito-Lay, Tervis, Wendy's, Waterpik, and Pur.

Laurel has been cooking up her love of food and developing brands for the last 16 years. After starting her career in high tech and telecom, she fled to Johnson and Wales culinary school to dive into her true passion…food. She’s worked in restaurants in San Francisco and abroad before coming to SRG. While at SRG, she’s led global, brand image development, consumer insights, positioning, and advertising for California Almonds, U.S. Potatoes, and Hass Avocados, driving the industries to new heights 

Amy Shipley

With more than 20+ years of experience, Amy is a global food-marketing specialist with a flair and passion for developing dynamic communication programs and culinary experiences for some of the nation’s most prestigious brands, restaurant chains, and U.S. commodities. She joined SRG in 2015 as a managing director to help further develop the extensive B2C and B2B food practice.

Prior to SRG, Amy was a senior vice president with Ketchum/San Francisco, a global communications firm. Amy has served on the board of directors and was president of the International Foodservice Editorial Council (IFEC) and has won numerous advertising, public relations, and marketing awards, including PRSA Silver and Bronze Anvils, ADDY Awards, NAMA (National Agri-Marketing Awards), and Mercury Awards. 

Doug Zucker

Doug is a strategy, marketing, and technology executive and has worked with some of the most successful companies across a range of industries, including CPG, healthcare, industrial products, and technology. After receiving his MBA from Northwestern’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Doug moved into strategy consulting with Price Waterhouse Coopers, where he successfully created and implemented strategies for leading brands, including General Mills, Cadbury Schweppes, Diageo, United Technologies, and General Motors. Doug then served as vice president of strategic planning and business development at Yamanouchi Consumer, Inc.


An entrepreneur at heart, he spent five years managing and building a thriving digital marketing agency, Mango Media. Before joining SRG he co-founded a successful technology start-up that launched various performance management software products. His agency experience includes digital strategy, social media, mobile, search, and web application design and development. 

Susan Peck

Susan Peck

Group Media Director + Partner

Susan has almost 25 years of experience in planning and buying media. Being from Detroit, it seems only appropriate that she learned the ins and outs of media at BBDO while working on the Dodge Car and Truck account. Since then, she has found stimulating opportunities in retail businesses, B2B, and brand advertising. Susan has been planning and buying media in the Denver market for 21 years with agencies such as McCann-Erickson and Barnhart.


Susan has been with SRG for 17 years, directing media research, media buying, and planning for clients including the Almond Board of California, Children's Hospital Colorado, Werther's Original, and Cascadian Farm.
