As both the Managing Director and Executive Creative Director of VML New York, Mike leads the agency on a variety of domestic and global accounts including Dell, Chevron, Motorola, Shiseido, Legoland, NBA, Kellogg’s, International Olympics Committee, Hillshire Farms, Ballpark and Xerox. Known for his creative insight and passion for ideas, Mike has moved comfortably between all disciplines of marketing for a wide range of clients. Possessing strong leadership skills, a never-say-quit attitude and a questionable sense of humor to match, he believes great ideas can live and come from anywhere. More importantly, that those ideas embed themselves into the audience in a way that enriches their daily lives. Mike has over a decade of management experience and has worked with business-to-business and business-to-consumer clients across industries as diverse as health care, consumer products, telecom and chemicals. His award-winning work for Virgin, Xerox, adidas, LG, and ESPN has proven his ability to articulate complex issues with strategically smart solutions.

Mike is responsible for integrating key disciplines and overseeing our Platforms & Experiences practice in North America. He has been a member of the executive leadership team that’s shaped VML’s success and direction for more than 20 years.
Mike leverages his vast digital experience to deliver superior strategy and engaging experiences using channels, technology and creative. He provides strategic leadership across a number of industries including CPG, transportation, financial services and more.
Mike’s unyielding passion for combining innovative marketing and technology to solve client needs has been a major contributor to VML's success. His knowledge of the digital space and ability to provide actionable plans have helped lead the way in giving clients forward-thinking solutions. Under his leadership, VML teams have won a number of industry awards.
Before joining VML, Mike was involved in various aspects of digital marketing and sales since 1981. He attended the University of Missouri for business studies.
In his spare time, Mike enjoys spending time with his family, serving in the community and reading a good book.
