Matt Edwards graduated from Oxford University with a degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics before starting his career with Saatchi & Saatchi, at the time the UK’s leading ad agency. After 6 years of launching Toyota cars and learning FMCG marketing from Procter & Gamble, Matt Edwards was hired by Lowe in 2000 where he ran the flagship Stella Artois account. During that time Stella Artois won numerous creative and marketing awards including four Cannes Lions, the BTAA Grand Prix and the Marketing Society Grand Prix.;WCRS hired Matt Edwards to be their New Business and Marketing Director in 2005 where he joined the new, post-MBO management team. By 2008 WCRS had added more than £100m of new business billings, rising from 18th to 6th place in the Nielsen rankings. Matt Edwards became Managing Director of Engine at the beginning of 2009 and was part of the team responsible for the development of Engine ‘s ‘best in class under one roof’ model for integration. In 2011 Matt was promoted to the role of Chief Executive of WCRS, Engine ‘s creative agency.

Debbie Klein became Chief Executive of Engine in 2010, having been Joint Chief Executive for the previous 2 years. She runs the UK business, overseeing the 10 partner companies (which include disciplines such as digital communications, advertising, direct marketing, public relations and strategy consultancy), leading key Client relationships and ensuring the attraction and retention of the best talent in the industry. She was Chief Executive of WCRS from 2005-2008 and continues to be involved as Chairman of the advertising agency. She was a founding partner in the management buyout of WCRS in 2004. Prior to that she was Head of Planning at WCRS for five years and started her career at AC Nielsen and Saatchi and Saatchi as a Strategic Planner. Debbie Klein has been named one of the Sunday Times ‘Top 40 under 40 in Media’ and is one of Campaign’s ‘Women of Today’. Engine has been named one of the Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For, for the past three years. She has also been Centre London since 2010. Debbie has been Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Jewish Community recognised as Business Leader of the Year by The South African in 2011.

Leon is currently enjoying his third stint at WCRS having left us once to start his own agency and then again in 1995 to join O&M, where having turned the Ford car brand's advertising around, he was soon promoted to Deputy Creative Director.
In 1998, Leon was lured back to WCRS as Joint Creative Director, partnering his long-term friend and colleague, Rooney Carruthers.
Following Rooney's departure in 2001, Leon took sole responsibility for the department as Executive Creative Director until the beginning of this year, when he hired Leslie Ali from BMP to be his partner and share the role of Joint Executive Director
