Jeff Blackman

Managing Director

Jeff joined Havas New York as Managing Director of digital businesses. In his role, he oversees the agency’s 20 year relationship with IBM including cognitive innovations with IBM Watson. In addition, he focuses on customer experiences brought to life for our clients through design, content, data, and technology. Jeff brings with him a deep background in helping brands build stronger customer relationships through storytelling and technology. From boutique consultancies to global agencies, Fortune 100 brands to start-ups, for over 15 years he has helped businesses build strategies for how digital can drive growth. Previous to Havas, Jeff was a partner at Trade NTE, a boutique consultancy focused on narrative design and data-driven storytelling to reframe how brands go to market. While there, he launched content platforms for GE Capital and Bank of America. Prior to that, Jeff led the digital practice at Publicis on the Citibank business where he led the U.S. Olympics campaign and introduced the Google Wallet brand partnership. Jeff’s work in media and entertainment has been quoted by Adweek as “rewriting the rules of movie marketing” for Paramount Pictures.

Jon Dupuis is Chief Performance Marketing Officer and Managing Director of the New York Office. A newly created role, Jon is tasked with scaling and optimizing performance marketing capabilities for clients within the New York group.
For nearly two decades, Jon has been helping renowned brands navigate an ever-changing digital and media landscape. Jon’s career began at global agency McCann Erickson cultivating a roster that included Callaway Golf, WD-40, and ConAgra. In 2002, he started his own agency, NYCA, which he quickly grew from two people to a shop of 65 employees across 12 global accounts including TaylorMade-adidas and ViewSonic. 2008 marked Jon’s return to New York as he guided the operational structuring and sale of Cossette-NY, Canada’s largest agency network.
Prior to Havas, Jon spent the last 6+ years at DigitasLBi leading the American Express business globally, overseeing digital communications across brand, acquisition and loyalty. During that time, he helped develop some of Amex’s most notable digital-led platforms: Small Business Saturday, Unstaged, My Movie Pitch, and Passion Project. In 2015, Jon started a DigitasLBi relationship with Under Armour, including social media projects across the brand’s football properties; just a year later under Jon’s leadership, the agency added Performance Media AOR duties.

Dan Goldstein is the Chief Strategy Officer of Havas New York, partnering with the agency’s CEO Laura Maness to innovate and drive the overall strategic direction of Havas New York.


With over 20 years of industry experience, Dan brings a blend of creatively driven agency and start-up experience to Havas, most recently as co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer of Los Angeles based db5, a quantitative research consultancy and one of the fastest-growing privately held companies in the US. Prior to db5, Dan was Executive Head of Planning at TBWA\Chiat\Day, where he both built and led one of the industry’s largest strategy groups, servicing clients such as Pepsi, Gatorade, Visa, Nissan, and Infiniti. During his five-year tenure at TBWA, Dan was instrumental in the agency’s impressive new business wins, including the agency’s global Visa account, for which he led strategy and innovation; he was also a member of Chiat’s Executive Board Committee and management team. Prior to joining TBWA\Chiat\Day, he was Group Planning Director at Goodby Silverstein & Partners in San Francisco, where he led the strategy for Saturn, Motorola, and the agency’s winning pitch for Sprint.

Matt leads all digital efforts across the Havas network overseeing all digital strategy and offer development. A proven innovator, Matt is passionate about fusing technology and marketing. Matt joins Havas from Vermonster LLC, a design and technology consultancy specializing in product development, where he serves as a Partner. Prior to that role, he was Global Chief Digital Officer at Arnold and Havas Creative Group. Previously, Matt was President at the creative agency Modernista! in Boston, where he ran the interactive group and successfully integrated digital practices into the core of the agency’s offering. He also spent over three years at R/GA, where he managed the Nike account, overseeing the creation of products like NIKEiD and Nike+. Matt’s work has taken top honors at Cannes, the CLIOs, and The One Show.

Laura Maness is CEO of Havas New York's flagship office. In this role, Laura is tasked with driving culture, talent and innovation, while servicing some of the most recognized companies and brands in the world including IBM, TD Ameritrade, Liberty Mutual Insurance, The Hershey Company, NetJets, Keurig Green Mountain, Heineken's Dos Equis, Edible Arrangements, Dream Bed by Mattress Firm and more.

Since taking the helm in Spring of 2016, Laura has continued to transform the New York office through the acquisition of new talent (including an entirely new executive leadership team), new business, and championing the group's unrivaled 'Together' strategy and Village model #ToBetterTogether. Leveraging competitive offerings in cognitive, performance media and data science to further fuel radical collaboration and rapid idea formulation, the agency is gaining greater visibility and positive momentum, evidenced by the return of RB's iconic Air Wick and Clearasil brands to it roster (from Droga5), as well as an appointment to the Civic Nation's Creative Alliance Board as one of the pioneering agencies tasked to create positive change amongst communities around the world. One of the first Creative Alliance initiatives included launching a new marketing campaign for the US Digital Service (a startup within the White House) with a familiar face: Steve Jobs. Consistent with Havas New York's storied history of firsts, it's the first marketing material to ever feature footage of the late Apple co-founder outside of the Cupertino company's own advertising. 2016 also marks the year Havas New York delivered the industry's very first cognitive marketing campaign (TD Ameritrade "Most Confident Fan") that took advantage of IBM Watson's computing power to determine the confidence level of football fans.

Prior to her role as CEO of Havas New York, Laura served as U.S. Chief Growth officer for Havas Worldwide North America and Managing Director of Havas Worldwide Chicago Group. With over 20 years of strategic marketing and leadership experience, ranging from digital pure-play agencies to globally integrated ad networks, Laura spent three years there spearheading new business development, organic agency growth and strategic brand building across Havas North America resulting in two consecutive years of more than 35% revenue growth and a >300% increase in profitability in Chicago, with new business wins that included Sears Holdings, DISH Network, RJR, Ragu, Bertolli and Moen, all while becoming a first-time mother.

Before Havas, Laura was SVP and chief marketing officer of Propane Studio, one of the fastest growing independent digital agencies with offices in San Francisco and New York. Prior to that, Laura oversaw a period of explosive growth for FCB West across their San Francisco, Seattle, and LA offices, and previously held management positions with Chicago-based digital shops including WPP/Wunderman-owned Designkitchen, Black Dog Interactive. She began her career as an early pioneer in the 90's digital "pure play" era and worked on one of the first hybrid (traditional and digital) teams for Publicis/Leo Burnett's interactive marketing arm, Giant Step (now Arc Worldwide), servicing the agency's largest account at the time, General Motors/Oldsmobile.

Laura earned a bachelor's degree in communications and marketing from Loyola University Chicago, and attended Hyper Island's Master Class executive program. She enjoys providing industry guidance through her affiliations with the 4A's and Mirren and championing women in leadership as a 3% Conference mentor, TedWomen supporter and committee member of She Runs It (formerly AWNY).

In her time away from the office, Laura currently resides with her husband and young son in New York's Tribeca neighborhood and enjoys pilates, river walks, pop up shops and bold California reds.

Morgan has been working in integrated advertising communications for 20+ years in both Western Europe and North America. As Managing Director he is responsible for a large portfolio of business as well as a part of the New York Management Team.
Morgan began his career at D’Arcy New York working on P&G brands such as Ivory Snow and the launch of Swiffer. He then moved to Y&R to work on the pilot “Integrated Solution” for Sony Electronics that successfully created a new agency structure and re-launched the Sony Walkman, MiniDisc and Handycam brands in North America.
His career then took him to London for 6 fantastic years where he had the opportunity to “Go Digital.” Working at Agency.com running British Airways and then later joining the management team that launched the highly successful London office of Fullsix interactive.
Back in NY again, Morgan joined BBDO Worldwide where led the Gillette, Lowe’s, CVS, and Campbell’s Soup businesses.

Diana Vienne is Chief Talent Officer of Havas New York, partnering with the agency's leaders to drive organizational change to support the ongoing growth of our business and talent.

With a deep background in talent management and strategic consulting, Diana joins Havas from MMC (Marina Maher Communications), where she partnered with leadership to shepherd the company through a digital transformation and organizational change management across all aspects of their business.

Prior to joining MMC, Vienne spent over 17 years as a global business consultant, working with top tier consulting firms, including Deloitte Consulting, PwC and Ketchum Change delivering strategic change management and talent management programs. Her key clients included PepsiCo, United Technologies, Exxon/Mobil, Nielsen, Scholastic, Prudential, IBM, Harper Collins and more.

Vienne holds a MA from New York University in Business Education and Organizational Effectiveness, and a Certificate in Strategic Human Resource Management from the University of Michigan Business School. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), and an active participant in the global and local community, involved in non-profit projects and activities for organizations such as Cross Cultural Solutions, Common Ground and The NY Foundling.
