Arthur Sadoun, 49, is Chairman & CEO of Publicis Groupe, the world’s third largest communications group.
After graduating from the European Business School, Arthur founded his own advertising agency in Chile, which he later sold to BBDO/ Chile.
Returning to France in 1997, he completed an MBA at INSEAD and joined the TBWA network (Omnicom Group) as International Director of Strategic Planning. In 2000, he was appointed Executive Officer of TBWA/Paris, becoming CEO in 2003. Under his management and for four consecutive years, TBWA/Paris received the ‘Agency of the Year’ award at Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.
At the end of 2006, Arthur Sadoun was named CEO of Publicis Conseil, the flagship agency of Publicis Groupe founded by Marcel Bleustein-Blanchet and previously presided over by Maurice Lévy.
In January 2009, Maurice Lévy appointed Arthur Sadoun CEO of the network Publicis France. Under Arthur’s leadership, Publicis Conseil was crowned Agency of the Year in 2008, 2009 and 2010, and Publicis France was named Network of the Year consecutively from 2009-2012.
In April 2011, he was appointed Managing Director of Publicis Worldwide, the global network of Publicis creative agencies, before being named Chief Executive Officer of the network in October 2013.
In December 2015, he was named CEO of Publicis Communications, Publicis Groupe’s creative hub comprising Leo Burnett, Saatchi & Saatchi, Publicis Worldwide, BBH, MSLGROUP and Prodigious networks.
Arthur Sadoun became Chairman and CEO of Publicis Groupe on June 1, 2017, making him the 3rd leader of the Groupe in its 91-year history, following in the footsteps of Maurice Lévy, and founder Marcel Bleustein-Blanchet.
As Global Chief Marketing Officer for Publicis Groupe, Justin brings together Publicis Groupe’s marketing and digital business transformation offerings to drive innovative ways to help clients grow. In this role, Justin’s focus areas include identifying and leading the development of products and initiatives that lead to client growth; creating more efficient and effective Power of One agency models; improving new business momentum and expanding scope with existing clients; and overseeing Publicis Groupe’s narrative to strengthen relationships with both clients and talent.
Justin first joined Publicis Groupe in 2009 as CEO for Saatchi & Saatchi Greater China, where he led the agency there to be Agency of the Year two years running. He then returned to the UK for a range of leadership roles in Saatchi & Saatchi globally before being appointed Global COO for Publicis Communications in 2015, his first Groupe-level appointment as part of The ‘Power Of One’ initiative. Justin went on to lead key Publicis Groupe countries, most recently as CEO of DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) before his CMO appointment in 2020. Prior to joining Publicis Groupe, Justin worked client-side across Asia-Pacific, the US and Europe, holding leadership roles at companies including Unilever, Nokia, Orange, and The Coca-Cola Company.
In addition to his CMO role, Justin is the Chairman of Publicis Emil and Publicis One Touch; the bespoke global Power Of One agency networks for Mercedes-Benz and NIVEA respectively.
Carla Serrano is the Chief Strategy Officer of Publicis Groupe and Chief Executive Officer of Publicis New York. In her current role, she draws on her background in strategy, integration and leadership to incorporate transformative thinking in all aspects of Groupe agency operations and in service of the Groupe’s clients and businesses.
Carla started her advertising career at Chiat/Day Toronto at a time when account planning was an emerging discipline in North America. She cut her teeth in the business working on iconic brands like Apple and Nissan. Throughout her career, Carla has worked in strategically led creative networks for global brands like Coca-Cola, Samsung, Absolut, and Kraft. She has held many leadership roles that meld strategic leadership with business management, from President of Berlin Cameron United, CSO of TBWA Chiat/Day, to CEO of Naked Communications.
Her experiences thus far continue to fuel her passion for seamless strategic innovation in service of radical creative solutions.
