James Champ

James Champ

James began his career above the line, working at DFGW, Partners BDDH and AMV, before he decided to expand his horizons and experience other kinds of advertising at the wonderful Craik Jones. After Craik Jones he left the country and spent six months living in a cave in France. Finally returning to Britain he ended a short freelance stint at iris four years later as Head of Planning, moving to The Communications Agency and then Rapier as Planning Director. James has worked on brands including Land Rover, first direct, The Balvenie, NatWest, American Express, The National Trust, Utterly Butterly (twice) and the Cutty Sark. Highlights include a D&AD Yellow Pencil, a DMA Grand Prix and a Highly Commended (aka Thank You For Turning Up) at the APG Creative Planning Awards. When he’s not at work James rides strange, slow bicycles, cooks food, plays the harmonica, reads about late Roman history and argues with his children about screen time.
Iain Hunter

Iain Hunter

Iain has been ECD at Stack for five years bringing innovation, awards and effectiveness to brands like Peugeot, Citroën, Nivea Men, Kellogg's, Lotus, McCain and Cadbury. Prior to this he was Digital and CRM Creative Director at Wunderman on Orange, Land Rover and Microsoft (to name a few); winning, amongst other things, both the prestigious Cannes and D&AD awards. When not at work Iain expels an inordinate amount of energy chasing a small white ball across the countryside, while using his copywriting vernacular to conjure up ever more inventive paradigms of the ‘F', ‘S' and ‘W' words.
Robin Murray

Robin Murray

Robin brings over 20 years experience in creative services to Stack. He has worked at some of London’s top league agencies (Lowe Direct, Wunderman, VCCP) and has produced campaigns across many high profile brands including Ford, Kia, More Than, RBS, Govia, Aviva, Barclays, O2, QVC and House of Fraser, helping to win a plethora of awards along the way. He sits at the heart of the agency, ensuring that all work is supplied on brief, on time and on budget. When he isn’t doing his day job, he runs a busy schedule at home managing his 3 children, dog and 6 chickens and can often be found in his shed, trying to fix everything they break. Well, that’s what he tells the wife, anyway.
Dan Plotkin

Dan Plotkin

Dan is an award-winning art director with 25 years experience working across all communication channels. Since joining the agency in 2005 he has devised digital, social and CRM campaigns for clients such as Peugeot, Citroën, Cadbury, Kellogg's, Lotus, Nivea Men and McCain. Dan loves big ideas, is fanatical about detail but - above all else - he believes passionately in creating work that works. Prior to joining Stack, Dan held a number of creative director posts, including London creative chief of CRM agency Brann Direct Marketing. When he's not at the agency Dan can be found in his kitchen creating new dishes or on his drum kit creating a racket.
Ben Stephens

Ben Stephens

Phone: (+44) 020 7592 7456

Before joining Stack as CEO in 2015 Ben founded Stephens Francis Whitson (SFW) and built a blue chip client roster over eight years, winning more than 50 awards for creativity and marketing effectiveness. In 2013 SFW was sold to the VCCP Partnership, and renamed VCCPme after its merger with Tree, the data consultancy. Prior to this Ben was Managing Director of Rapier, for half of the time that Campaign awarded it ‘Direct Agency of the Decade’ for the noughties. And as a young man he founded TBWA Direct and merged it twice to become Joint CEO of Tequila UK. Ben has always focused on the direct, digital and data space advising over 40 brands on how to adapt to the digital economy whilst driving both customer profitability and engagement. At Stack Ben is re-dedicating the agency to galvanising strategy, data, creative and technology to answer the challenges of creating and managing customers for clients such as Citroen, Peugeot, Beiersdorf and Estee Lauder.
