As Senior Technology Director, Ronnie leads R/GA Singapore’s technology offering, focusing on client engagement and providing thought leadership and direction; he drives the office’s production of best-in-class work. Ronnie was the first employee of the Singapore office and has been pivotal in the set-up and operations since its inception.
Prior to joining R/GA, Ronnie was the Associate Director of the Creative Development group in AKQA, San Francisco. He provided leadership and direction for the group, playing a key role in projects and overseeing global accounts such as Nike, Gap, and Xbox. Prior to that, Ronnie was with XM Asia Pacific in Singapore, where he pioneered and led the agency’s front-end development team. During his stint, he planned and implemented creative and technical solutions for regional clients like Nokia, Hewlett-Packard, and Visa. He has also worked with TBWATequila Singapore and OgilvyOne Singapore.
Ronnie’s work has won him major industry accolades including One Show Interactive, Cannes Cyber Lions, and London International Awards. He was also invited to be on the judging panel for Singapore Creative Circle Awards and Cannes Future Lion. In 2009, Ronnie was featured in Creativity magazine as one of the ad world’s most inspired creative technologists.
Christer joined R/GA in July 2012. Born in Malaysia and brought up across Asia, Christer spent the last 12 years focused on multiple aspects of digital technology and communications in APAC. He has led digital development plans, global campaigns, and communications strategies for local and multinational clients including Intel, Dell, Microsoft, McDonalds, Johnson & Johnson, Kimberly-Clark, PepsiCo, Daimler/Mercedes, and Lenovo.
Before joining R/GA Christer was at Razorfish and The Upper Storey as Regional Strategy Director, as well as at Tribal DDB (SG/HK/China) in various roles from General Manager to Strategy lead. He also spent 6 years with Euro RSCG across Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia.
Educated in international schools across Asia, Christer completed his studies with a Bachelors and Masters in Sydney. Before getting into advertising he dabbled in a variety of things from nanotechnology, a music career, to a digital startup.
Gloria has over fifteen years of experience in cross-discipline marketing communication. Having worked and lived in Australia, Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Singapore, Gloria offers a wealth of Asia markets knowledge for R/GA clients in the Region. With both agency and client side experience, she has worked with many well- known brands including Johnson & Johnson, Unilever, Puma, Volkswagen, General Motors, Shell, ExxonMobil, Dragon Air, Intel, Microsoft, match.com, MasterCard and Tiffany.
Following her education in Australia, Gloria started her career with Shell as a management trainee where she built the company’s first retail website. Inspired by the potential of digital, Gloria joined Euro RSCG and heads up the regional Intel B2B and B2C business in Beijing, Hong Kong and Singapore and received the Intel Recognition Reward. Prior to joining R/GA, Gloria was the General Manager of the MRM Worldwide in China before heading back to Singapore and led the global digital and CRM strategies for General Motors International Operations.
