Story When Stephen Colbert took over CBS' late night time slot, he inherited not only David Letterman's place on the schedule, he was given the renowned Ed Sullivan Theater as his new show's home. Stephen and his team required a set that embraced and magnified the exquisite history and architecture of that space, while creating a new environment that reflected his unique personality.  The final design seamlessly blends the new and the old into a flexible, hardworking space with a truly unique personality. It is hard to tell where the scenery ends and the theater begins. Guests on the show often immediately remark on the beauty of the space.
